Providers and connection management
This page lists every provider you can connect today, shows how each one authorizes, and explains how to manage a connection once it exists.
Apps you can connect
Section titled “Apps you can connect”Select Add new connection in the Connections hub, then pick one of these:
| Provider | What agents can do | Setup |
|---|---|---|
| Atlassian (Jira + Confluence) | Track issues, and read and write Confluence pages. | OAuth |
| AWS | Run the AWS CLI with short-lived credentials. | Role, keys, or SSO |
| Crypto wallet | View addresses and propose native ETH or SOL transfers. | Create or import |
| cTrader | Trade forex and CFDs, and read market data and account history. | OAuth |
| Custom | Use your own integration from a public GitHub manifest. | Manifest and credentials |
| GitHub | Work with repositories, issues, pull requests, and code. | OAuth |
| Google Workspace | Use Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and more. | OAuth |

The dashboard picker is the live list. It shows Crypto wallet and Telegram only when you’re adding a connection on an agent.
To follow the OAuth flow, see Connect an account. Some connection tools don’t run on every runtime; see the integrations overview.
Other setup methods
Section titled “Other setup methods”These providers don’t use the standard OAuth popup.
Shopify
Section titled “Shopify”Shopify authorizes one store at a time, so enter its domain first.
- Select Shopify and enter your store’s
.myshopify.comdomain. The store handle also works. - Approve access on Shopify’s screen.
To connect another store, run the flow again. Agents choose a store by its domain.
Crypto wallet
Section titled “Crypto wallet”A wallet belongs to one agent. A specialist custody provider, Privy, holds the signing key. Alfe stores the wallet address and a reference to it.
- Open the agent’s Connections tab, select Add new connection, and pick Crypto wallet.
- Choose New wallet and pick Ethereum and EVM networks, Solana, or both. To import instead, choose Recovery phrase or Private key.
- Optionally add a label, then select Create wallet or Import wallet.
An agent can’t move funds on its own. It proposes a transfer, and a person who can manage connections on that agent approves or rejects it under Manage. Approval requires a recent second-factor check. Only native ETH and SOL transfers are supported, and network gas comes from the wallet.
Custom connection
Section titled “Custom connection”A custom connection adds an integration you or someone else published in a public GitHub repository.
- Select Custom (from GitHub manifest).
- Enter the Repository URL, the Manifest path, and the Ref.
- Preview the manifest, then enter the credentials it asks for.
- Name the connection and create it.
Manage a connection
Section titled “Manage a connection”Open the Connections view for the scope that owns the connection. The actions on each row depend on the provider.
Reconnect
Section titled “Reconnect”Reconnect reruns the approval flow for OAuth providers and keeps the same connection, so everything using it keeps working. See Reconnect an account. For Telegram, the action is Sign in.
Update credentials
Section titled “Update credentials”Providers without OAuth have their own action:
- Vast.ai — Update API key.
- Custom — Edit.
- Crypto wallet — Manage.
- AWS — Manage roles or Finish setup. See Connect an AWS account.
Move changes a connection’s scope without authorizing it again. See Move a connection.
Disconnect
Section titled “Disconnect”Disconnect removes Alfe’s stored access immediately, and agents lose access to that account. To use the account again, connect it from scratch.
Some connections take more with them, and Alfe asks you to confirm first:
- Mobile number — releases the number and stops its monthly charge.
- Crypto wallet — archives the wallet.
- AWS — credentials already issued keep working until they expire. See Revoke access.
Connection status
Section titled “Connection status”Each row shows a badge:
| Badge | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Connected | Working and available to agents. | Nothing. |
| Provisioning | A mobile number is still being set up. | Wait for it to finish. |
| Token expired | Access has lapsed. | Select Reconnect. |
| Revoked | Access was withdrawn. | Select Reconnect. |
| Error | Alfe hit a problem using the connection. | Select Reconnect, or check the provider. |
| Enabled on agent | Telegram is enabled. The sign-in itself lives on the agent. | Ask the agent for its Telegram status. |
AWS connections have their own badges. See AWS troubleshooting.
